Well we moved on Saturday Dec 15th to our new home in smalltown, Oklahoma! In the middle of snow, very windy, and freezing outside we piled all our stuff/junk into the largest uhaul available, the back of a van, the back of a pacifica, the backseat/trunk of 2 cars and the back of a pickup truck.
I do NOT want to ever move again. That's how I feel right now, although I know we will because we are currently renting. Our home in our old town has not sold yet, but we went ahead and moved to smalltown to get settled in before Christmas.
Our internet has not been working, we had someone out today and it's finally fixed!
It will be much easier having an empty home for sale. You know you live in a small town when you cannot receive any tv stations with an antenna, you have to have sattelite or cable. Which we've never had any. You also know when your landlord tells you to drop the check off with so and so up and such and such place each month. I think I'm gonna love smalltown oklahoma!
More updates later. I just wanted you to know i did not disappear. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Interactive Nativity Set

We recieved this from our an old church when we were expecting Little King. It is "What God Wants for Christmas" and it's a child interactive nativity set. When you open the box there is a pop up background manger and there are 7 boxes inside. Each box has something special along with a Bible story to teach your kids why we celebrate Christmas.
You can read this 7 consecutive days, or even all in one night for your big family Christmas. One box has an angel, one has Mary, one has Joseph, one has baby Jesus, one has a shephard, one has a wiseman and the last one has a mirror. Teaching your child that what God really wants for Christmas is you!
I just had to share this treasure with you. Currently Famil Life is selling it for $19.99 with this DVD "Very First Noel".
I hope you buy the interactive nativity set! It is awesome. Little King is loving it!

Celebrate Jesus! (Craft)

I ran across this site from a friend. Family Fun has a great Christmas craft you can make. I can't wait to try this out!
What a fun way to celebrate the birth of Jesus through a craft with your child!
CRAFT MATERIALS:
2 small terra-cotta pots
1 small terra-cotta saucer
Acrylic paint
Fine-point marker
3 wooden knobs, one smaller than the others
Tacky glue
Fabric
Embroidery floss
Raffia
Time needed: About 1 to 2 Hours

1 small terra-cotta saucer
Acrylic paint
Fine-point marker
3 wooden knobs, one smaller than the others
Tacky glue
Fabric
Embroidery floss
Raffia
Time needed: About 1 to 2 Hours
1. Paint the terra-cotta pots and saucer. Use a fine-point marker to draw faces on the wooden knobs.
2. Once the paint is dry, turn the pots upside down and use tacky glue to attach a larger head to the bottom of each pot. When the glue is dry, drape a piece of fabric around the top of each head and tie it in place with embroidery floss.
3. Form a swaddling blanket from another piece of cloth, as shown, gluing it to secure the shape. Glue the small head to the blanket and set it in the saucer on a bed of raffia.

26
I turned 26 on November 30th. Yeah I forgot to mention that.
In the overwhelming week of my husband finally graduating PA school that same night! YEAH Tre finished PA school. He is officially a PA. He has been studying all week for his boards on the 8th. Once he passes those he'll be licensed to practice medicine!
Then Dec 1st we attended his graduation party. It was a "black dress" occasion and it was so fun to dress up! We stayed for the first part, which was like a reception and then as it got later we were not very comfortable and we left. The boys were with my parents SO we decided to hit the movie theatere at 9:30pm last minute, all dressed up! We saw August Rush, which by the way was an awesome movie. It expresses my love for music in a way I could never have put to words.
I am so sorry I am so sparse lately. I am longing to get back into blogging so DO NOT give up on me! We are moving on the 15th of December. Yeah fun huh?! So now I'm cramming things into boxes and trying to get packed....
Blogging frequently will return, but maybe not as quickly as I had hoped.
